Rás Tailteann is an eight-day, international stage race around Ireland – commonly known as “The Rás”.
The race is Ireland’s number one cycling event and takes place each year in May.
This year the event started on Sunday 20th May and will finish in Skerries, Co Dublin on Sunday 27th May 2018.
On 24th May 2018, the Rás started in Glengarriff and passed through Carriganima on it’s way to Mitchelstown.
There was great excitement when the children heard the sound of sirens from the cars, crew, doctors and Gardaí
and especially when over 170 riders whizzed by. The children and staff really enjoyed the event.
